By securing a booking with Chemistry Lab PR & Events, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received as agreed upon in the quotation or invoice provided.
All rental and styling items remain the property of Chemistry Lab PR & Events at all times.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all hired items are kept in good condition during the hire period. Any damaged, broken or missing items will be charged accordingly.
Setup and collection times will be communicated prior to the event date. Delays caused by venue access restrictions or client delays may result in additional charges.
Outdoor setups are subject to suitable weather conditions. Chemistry Lab PR & Events reserves the right to adjust or remove installations where weather conditions may damage equipment or compromise safety.
Final setup details, color selections and customizations must be confirmed before the agreed cutoff date to avoid delays.
Chemistry Lab PR & Events reserves the right to use setup photographs and videos for portfolio, marketing and social media purposes unless otherwise requested by the client in writing.
Chemistry Lab PR & Events offers delivery, setup and collection services across Cape Town and surrounding areas.
Delivery fees are calculated based on:
- Distance traveled
- Setup complexity
- Staff required
- Collection timing
- Venue accessibility
Delivery quotations are provided separately unless otherwise stated.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that venue access and parking arrangements are available at the agreed setup and collection times.
Large setup installations may require extended setup time depending on the scale of the event.
Late-night collections, stair access and difficult loading zones may result in additional charges.
All hired items must be returned in the condition they were received unless collection services have been arranged directly through Chemistry Lab PR & Events.
Clients are responsible for any damages, breakages, stains or missing items during the hire period.
Candles, food, drinks, paint, confetti and outdoor weather conditions may damage certain rental items. Clients are encouraged to use hired products responsibly.
No permanent adhesives, nails, staples or alterations may be made to hired items.
Certain styling pieces and backdrop setups are intended for decorative purposes only and should not be climbed on or misused.
Chemistry Lab PR & Events reserves the right to refuse installations that may place equipment, staff or guests at risk.
Due to the nature of event planning and date reservations, all payments made to Chemistry Lab PR & Events are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Date changes may be accommodated subject to availability.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the event date.
Custom items, personalized signage, vinyl work and outsourced services are non-refundable once production has begun.
In the unlikely event that Chemistry Lab PR & Events is unable to fulfill the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a refund for any services not rendered.
Weather-related adjustments for outdoor events may require setup modifications for safety and equipment protection. Refunds will not apply where services remain deliverable in adjusted form.
